Does reality change as soon as it enters another mouth — another language? Two performers, embodying one bilingual individual, explore the question whether translation always entails a change of meaning. They examine what it means to unite several language realities in one consciousness — sometimes in polish-german dialogue, sometimes in bilingual choir. The basis for the play is a text collage of essayistic fragments by Herta Müller, in which the author reflects on multilingualism from an autobiographical perspective.
